One of the lower shock bolts is impossible to remove. The other side I did with no problem in like 15 minutes. The shocks are normally easy on the Mk1 Focus, but not with an impossible bolt like this!

I remembered this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! from a couple years ago, so now I’m going to get a torque multiplier. There’s !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!   for about $60, or I could get this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for only $35

4800 Nm for $60 vs 800 Nm for $35... I think the bigger one is worth it.

Yeah I think so, too, but the bigger one a a 1-in drive! The bolt I need to undo is 15mm. I can’t find any 15mm sockets with a 1-in drive, and I can’t find a 1-in to a smaller drive adapter (for example, 1-in female to 1/2 male) at any price.I can find plenty of 3/4-to-1/2, but no 1-to-3/4 or 1-to-1/2

So it looks like I might not be able to use the bigger one.

Crap, I can’t find a 15mm in 1" drive either. I do see adapters, but by th e time you reduce it down to the size you need, I don’t know if you’ll be able to still brace the anchor  of the multiplier against anything.

Also, the adapter is $20

I bought the smaller one. It will probably work.

Yeah 800 Nm is still pretty impressive. *fingers crossed*
